Sarajane Cockell (Talented Actress, Beautiful Mother and Dog Lover) was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with Sarajane.
Sarajane Cockell As Cover Story Interview – January 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Sarajane Cockell, a Mother of 3, an actress and dog lover (I have 3) I live in The Midlands, literally in the middle of England but also spend a lot of time in London. I became an Actress later in life, in my mid 40’s after spending time bringing my children up and being a long haul air hostess. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively around the world. My favourite place to travel to has always been Los Angeles! I now live in the countryside and enjoy being in nature and daily walks with my dogs! My family are everything to me and I have 2 beautiful, amazing daughters and a wonderful son.
I enjoy exercising, especially walking, Pilates, cycling and strength training. When I was younger I was a party animal but I haven’t drank alcohol now for about 4 years, I also like to eat very clean and healthily and look after my body. I’m also a keen photographer and love going out with my camera!
What hardships did you face in your life?
When I was 17 my Dad had an awful accident which resulted in a terrible brain injury. He spent months in a coma. I was a real Daddy’s girl, so this was really heartbreaking. He did pull through but was never the same due to the brain injury and he became epileptic. He passed away when I was 27. It was tough losing a parent at such a young age but it’s definitely made me more resilient and taught me to make the most of everyday as life is short.
What is something people usually don’t know about you?
I was bullied at school and literally had no confidence as a teenager, although I seemed to mask it well! I fell in love with acting at primary school but sadly never took it any further until later in life. I was really into the dance scene in the 90’s and loved going clubbing. I still love dance music now! I got married in Las Vegas with just the photographer as our witness!
What sets you apart from others?
- I’m a very positive person, I’m grateful for every opportunity.
- I work hard and I’m so passionate about my job as an actress.
- I meditate and live in the present which is a very useful tool for an Actor!
Although I came into the industry late, I have a lot of life experience which I bring to my roles.
What would be your Expert Advice?
My advice is You’re never too old to follow your dreams!I found my passion, my purpose in my mid 40’s! As long as I have my health I will never retire and hope to still be acting into my 80’s!! Always enjoy the journey, not just the destination.
