Sarah Paul As Cover Story Interview – September 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m an exotic redneck born and raised in Louisiana, but my father was born and raised in France, Morocco and Louisiana so I’m an exotic redneck. I also lived in Paris, New York and LA.
What hardships have you gone through in life?
My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 12 and it spread she died when I was 15 she was 40. I had a son that was very sick 11 years ago and he died. He was two months old. I held him in my arms, one time and he passed away. He was hooked up to machines his whole life on his back so I spent six months in Children’s Hospital four of them monitoring me while he was in neutral and then two months while he was alive on his back I held him in my arms once the day he died. I was in a marriage to a musician for 20 years. He went on tour and never came home and we still haven’t seen him since this day two years now..left me and my son and all my animals never came home hasn’t given me any child support so I’ve been through it all, but the cream rises to the top and the trash takes itself out, so I’m doing all right.
What sets you apart from others?
In a world filled with fakery I’m as real as real can get. I’m intimidating to those who aren’t I’m prettier on the inside than I am the outside what you see is what you get and they don’t make them like me anymore. I can promise you that.
What do people usually not know about you?
Basically everything I said about my son dying and all of that my struggles I try to not talk about that too much except people that are close to me. I also left Home at 18 lived in New York LA in Paris. I had a agent and a manager I was in one motion picture was my first audition in LA so it was a big deal for Louisiana girl I was in the movie Van Wilder with Ryan Reynolds and Ryan asked me out on a date but then you know his second choice was Blake lively so he looked down in that department lol I had a boyfriend at the time so I couldn’t go on it, but I love me some Ryan Reynolds.
What are your upcoming major events?
I’ve been traveling a lot. I started my business two years ago, but I’ve been an aesthetician working for doctors and hotels and you know really paying my dues in my industry for the past 16 years and one of my really good friends host these yoga retreats in Ibiza and Montana and I’m doing them with him and I have one coming up in Ibiza and possibly one in LA with another yoga retreat/ really big into health and wellness I’ve been through a lot of tragedy loss in my life and I know what I’ve always turned to has been my animals and my workouts, my meditation, my yoga, and just helping others feel better about the skin that they’re in has always brought me joy I had a lot of problems with my own skin so I know what it feels like to not wanna look in the mirror or go somewhere when you have bad skin and I just love making women feel better about the skin that they’re in and men for that matter.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Well it depends if it’s from a skin care perspective there’s a lot but consistency is the number one and it’s 85% the products that you use at home the other 15% is what we do in the office if it’s expert advice on life it’s karma is real what you see is what you get you are what you eat. Do unto others as you would like them to do to you and working out for mental health is key.
