Patricia Isaac As Cover Story Interview – July 2025 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Patricia Isaac — a lady who has faced many challenges but never gives up. I don’t believe in staying stuck in the same routine, and I love using all my skills to their fullest. We all have 24 hours in a day — and if we know how to organise them well, we can do so much more. I’m active in the civil engineering field, graphic designing, and work as a teacher aide at school. I also tutor privately, teaching all subjects from Grade 1 to Year 12 (VCE). Alongside that, I’m studying a higher degree in civil engineering and currently in my second year of dietetics, doing my practical training at a clinic. Last year, I was a candidate for the City of Whittlesea council in Victoria, representing both Epping and Wollert. That experience showed me how much I enjoy politics and understanding people’s needs. In 2022, I graduated with a Diploma of Modelling from the Tanya Powell Model Agency because I wanted to be professional in the industry. Since then, I’ve done many photoshoots and continued to grow my portfolio. This year, I proudly became a finalist in the Miss Australia Legacy 2025 competition — with the final stage to be held in November 2025.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Being in a new country was hard for me, but I worked on myself from the very first day and never gave up. I kept pushing forward no matter how tough things got. The biggest hardships I’ve faced weren’t physical — they were emotional. The hardest part was when people I trusted, people I called my best friends, ended up stabbing me in the back. I’ve always had a kind and giving heart, but unfortunately, some people took advantage of that. Learning to heal from betrayal and still stay true to who I am has been one of my greatest personal battles.

What do people usually not know about you?
What people usually don’t know is that, behind everything I do — civil engineering, modelling, graphic design, tutoring, politics, and studying dietetics — I carry a lot silently. I manage so much at once, but I never show when I’m down or struggling. I don’t share my negative vibes at all — I always choose to spread positivity. Even on my hardest days, I try to make the people around me feel good, smile, and believe in themselves. Uplifting others brings me joy, and I believe that even small positive energy can change someone’s day. That’s something I live by.

What sets you apart from others?
I’m multidimensional. I don’t fit into just one box. I’m a lady who works in civil engineering, graphic design, education, health, and modelling — and I manage all of it while studying two degrees. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people from all walks of life — and to work across different industries without losing authenticity. I’ve given more than just my time — I’ve given my heart. Many times, I’ve offered over 30 free sessions to each student I’ve taught. No tutor does that, because I don’t work just for money. I work to make people better — to help them believe in themselves and reach their full potential. That’s what drives me every single day.

What are your upcoming major events?
The biggest milestone ahead is the Miss Australia Legacy 2025 final in November — a competition that’s not just about beauty, but about making a meaningful contribution to society. I’m also launching my own modelling agency and training course soon, designed to empower aspiring models with confidence and professionalism. While still working in five fields and studying two degrees, I won’t be pausing any part of my journey. Every area I’m involved in is part of who I am, and I’ll keep growing in all of them together.

What expert advice would you like to give?
Don’t wait for the “right time” — make now your time. Whether you’re juggling work, study, or family, you’re capable of achieving more than you think. Use your time wisely, believe in your value, and don’t limit yourself to one path. Be flexible, be hungry for growth, and most importantly, stay kind — to others and to yourself. And when life gets overwhelming, just pause, breathe, and remind yourself why you started.
