How do you introduce yourself?
Niques: 24- year-old Niques is a new upcoming artist shining her heart and soul from Rnb classic’s to UK Garage. This unique singer/rapper resides in Cardiff South Wales.
She’s showcased her talent from BBC 6 immersed Festival, Scotland’s Push the boat out festival to Performing alongside the likes of Manga and D Double E, she’s also featured a track on Sam Binga & Foreign Concept’s album (come back round) not to mention being the only female from Wales nominated for a youth music award in 2022.
Childhood to Adulthood – How was your transition from childhood to adulthood and what are the bad and good things you remember?
Niques: Niques was a very inquisitive kid always keen to learn even having went to 5 different high school’s although this sassy miss was kicked out a lot she still managed to achieve 9 GCSE’s and actually part takes in youth work teaching work shops in her adult life.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Niques: Brought up by a single mother she was taught the values of how to be hard working independent strong lady. She spent a lot of time in swimming pools during the holiday as her mother was lifeguard. Safe to say she is a strong singer and swimmer.
What do people usually not know about you?
Niques: People are often surprised by the all the stories Niques has about her life experience’s many get inspired to live more and take more risks after a spontaneous meeting with Niques.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
Niques: We’re all on a special journey nobody is any different in this field. We all need each-other in order to learn and progress. None of us would know how to spell if we weren’t taught by our teachers. There would be no schools without staff. It’s the same with my music. I wouldn’t make the beauty and magic I make without the producers, photographers, audience etc. We are all one.
What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?
Niques: You can catch Niques perform this summer at many festivals and links are always promoted within bio on her instagram. She’s soon to support Grand master flash in William Aston Hall, Wrexham late July – Get your tickets now! The next 5 chapters are looking very exciting for this artist as she perpares her future Singles for release.
What are your food preferences and physical attributes?
Niques: With being comfortable in front of so many individuals whilst showcasing Niques seeks adrenaline else where often embracing activities in nature. Can’t beat a Sunday roast after a nature walk.
Your love life, relationships and family?
Niques: Family relationships constantly evolve it’s important to keep your loved ones close to you and always have understanding you’d be surprised how much they’ve contributed to your art whether that be good or bad experiences. Love makes the world a stronger and better place.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Niques: Do what makes you happy and don’t wait on anyone – follow your gut and do all the things that scares you because fear reminds us all we’re alive.
