How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Monique Simon. I’m originally from South Africa and immigrated to Canada four years ago with my family. I’m a model, acrobatic dancer, bikini athlete, Miss Heritage Canada 2025–2026, and Miss Crowned 2026. I’m also a mother of two girls, and everything I do is rooted in faith, discipline, and purpose.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Moving to a new country was challenging — leaving family behind and starting over. A knee dislocation also forced me to pause training, but I rely on faith and perseverance to overcome setbacks.
What do people usually not know about you?
I’m a proud mother of two girls, and being their mom shapes my drive and determination. I’m kind, honest, and love being around people. I always want to shine my light and uplift others. I enjoy watching movies, training with my husband and my most favorite thing in the world is ‘Biltong’, it’s a South African beef snack, almost like beef jerky! Definitely prefer something salty over sweet.
What sets you apart from others?
I move with strength and grace, knowing that true elegance is felt, not just seen. Confidence is built through consistency, resilience, and self-respect. I show up fully with discipline, integrity, and purpose. Modeling, bodybuilding and acrobatic dance are my ways to express, tell stories, and lead, always staying humble and working hard. I stand for women who rise with dedication, lead with humility, and own their space with grace.
What are your upcoming major events?
I have fashion, fitness, and media collaborations coming up, and I’m preparing to return to competitive bodybuilding with UFE federation and acrobatic dance. I also have Miss Confident pageant and Miss Earth India lined up in 2026.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Choose faith over fear. Work hard, stay humble, follow your dreams, and do not procrastinate. Build a strong portfolio, network, and foster healthy relationships with people around you and in the industry. Don’t let anything hold you back.
