Mary Wuerdeman As Cover Story Interveiw – August 2025 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Mary Wuerdeman, a holistic health coach, speaker, and wellness advocate. After decades of helping women in midlife reclaim their vitality, I’ve discovered that true health isn’t just about food—it’s about purpose, movement, rest, mindset, and connection. I teach others to simplify wellness and live fully on purpose.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

The greatest heartbreak of my life was losing my son, Brian. That profound loss reshaped me, deepened my faith, and revealed that we are here to love, to heal, and to lift one another up. Every part of my work now is a love letter to him—and to life.

What do people usually not know about you?

People often don’t realize how committed I am to walking my talk. Whether it’s walking 65 days in a row at age 65, or preparing nourishing food from scratch, I live the lifestyle I coach. I also believe deeply in joy, gratitude, and finding beauty in the everyday.

What sets you apart from others?

I don’t believe in fads or fear-based wellness. My approach blends science, soul, and simplicity. After more than 12 years as a certified coach—and a lifetime as a student of healing—I help women cut through the noise, lower inflammation, and finally feel good in their own bodies.

What are your upcoming major events?

I’m teaching a class on “The Transformative Power of Gratitude” at a wellness conference in the Dominican Republic this October—an experience I’m incredibly honored to be part of. I’m also launching a seasonal anti-inflammatory cookbook and a results-driven 12-week coaching program, both rooted in my signature “5 Keys to Wellness.” In addition, I’m continuing to grow my community through Instagram and collaborations that help midlife women reclaim vibrant health.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Your body is always talking to you—learn to listen. Wellness isn’t about restriction; it’s about nourishment. Start with small, daily habits that support your energy, hormones, and sleep. You’re never too old, too late, or too far gone to feel better.
