How do you introduce yourself?
Luke Speakman is often hailed as an emerging talent in the acting world. He began his journey at just 5 years old, landing the role of Sam in Steven Spielberg’s acclaimed series, AMAZING STORIES, on Apple TV+. Luke has made appearances across various platforms, including Peacock, NBC, Hulu, Disney+, QCODE Media, NHK Japan, and INSP. He has collaborated with esteemed directors like Keith Powell and Mark Mylord, working alongside diverse talent from around the globe in numerous feature films, television series, and voiceover projects. His impressive portfolio includes notable roles in YOUNG ROCK and LOST MAN FOUND (Hirowareta Otoko), where he starred as Sean, a series regular filmed in Tokyo, Japan, for Hulu and Disney+.
Luke also appeared as Elliot Kintner in the recently released THE INVISIBLE RAPTOR. Recently, he was cast in a coveted role in Zach Cregger’s upcoming film, WEAPONS, produced by New Line Cinema, set for release in August 2026. Originally from the quaint town of Athens, GA, Luke currently enjoys a bi-coastal lifestyle, splitting his time between Atlanta and Los Angeles. His passion for travel and enthusiasm for meeting new people continue to flourish with each acting endeavor. He is represented by Paradigm Talent and Kim Eva Matuka at Schuller Talent.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in your career to be where you are?
Well, I am only 12 years old and I have been so fortunate to be given the so many amazing opportunities and experiences so far! Though, I think the biggest struggle that we ALL went through would be when Covid happened. I was very young and new into the acting industry. Luckily I am just a kid, but I remember being very confused when all the auditions stopped when the world shut down. Those few years the industry were slow but taught me to use the time I had to explore other instructs such as piano and baseball. I also took more acting classes online and focused on growing my skills on camera and on the stage! I believe that this helped me become the actor I am today!
What do people usually not know about you?
Well most people don’t know that I do a lot of things that are not acting related! I play baseball on my local Little League recreation and travel teams. I also play the piano and love to play chess! I train in American Ninja Warrior, and I actually hope to compete on the show one day. I am also obsessed with weather. Especially tornadoes! I have always been fascinated with the weather and all that goes into predicting storms. When a good storm is approaching, you can always find me with multiple radars and my telescope tracking the clouds above!
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
Well, this is a tricky question. Honestly to be successful in the acting world, you really can’t look at it as a competition. Each opportunity (audition) is a chance to see if you are ‘right’ for the role or ‘ready’ for the role. If not, it’s ok. What is for you will be for you. If it is not for me, I cheer on my pal who it IS right for. I guess having this outlook helps keep me focused. I also don’t get burned out from all the no’s or rejection – that is inevitable!

What expert advice would you like to give?
Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard! DO NOT GIVE UP! If you have a goal or a dream, keep working towards it! Hearing no is the only guarantee in this business. The one’s that make it are the ones who use each opportunity as a learning experience to grow. Your YES will happen when the time is right!
