How do you introduce yourself?
Hi I’m Lisa Hamilton, I’m a passionate actress, who loves nothing more than auditioning & the thrill of being on set, nothing beats it. Performing is in my bones always will be. I’m also a loving wife & mother of 2 beautiful boys who are my absolute world.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Most recently my dad has been really unwell for the last few years which has taken its toll on me & my family. But I truly believe when you are faced with hard times it shows you who you can rely on, who is truly there for you & what’s most important in life. These are important life lessons.
What do people usually not know about you?
I have a really cool party trick where I can make my tongue dance! I’m also great at doing a head stand (I’m full of random talents).
What sets you apart from others?
For starters I’m not like anyone else, there’s only 1 me!! What sets me apart is my dedication to preparation. I take the time to study my roles, understand the story, and continuously work on improving my craft. I’m open to feedback and use it to grow, which allows me to give strong and thoughtful performances.
What are your upcoming major events?
2026 in a new adventure I’m so excited to get my teeth into. Watch this space!!
What expert advice would you like to give?
Growth takes time. Not every audition will go your way, and that’s normal. Rejection isn’t a reflection of your worth or talent, it’s part of the process. Believe in yourself even when others don’t yet see your potential. Avoid comparing your journey to someone else’s. Everyone’s path in acting is different. Acting should challenge you, but it should also bring you joy. Hold onto the passion that made you want to act in the first place, that’s what will keep you going.
