How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Latisha Van Simon, I am originally from the Netherlands, and moved here to pursue my career in music. I am a singer, songwriter and producer living Los Angeles, CA
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Moving to another country from a young age was an adventure. Getting my greencard was a struggle and something that I am very proud of. My struggles in life are minimal if I would compare them to what some people go through, but they come mostly from personal relationships.
What do people usually not know about you?
That I am a believer in the law of attraction.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
What sets me apart is that I have multiple talents and know how to do a lot of things well on my own. I am able to write a song, produce and record it at home.
What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?
I am releasing new music soon. And just released a new song online “Don’t wanna cry” an unforgettable moment in my life is when I was in rehearsal with a choir with Stevie Wonder, and as soon as my solo part started he started smiling. It was a great compliment.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Do not let your inner doubts sabotage your growth. If it brings you joy, never stop doing it.
