Kimber Leigh (Filmmaker, Actress, Producer, and Author) was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and here is the Q&A session we had with Kimber.

How do you introduce yourself?

I introduce myself simply as Kimber Leigh, a storyteller at heart. I am an award-winning independent filmmaker, actress, producer, and author, and I was recently honored as Top Model 2026 with RX Runway. My work has always been rooted in creativity and purpose, whether I’m directing films, producing projects, acting on screen, writing books, or walking the runway.

My memoir, Greta GarBitch: A True Story of Life, Loss, Light, and Love, reflects much of the personal journey that shaped who I am today.

At the heart of everything I do is a desire to share stories that remind people of their strength, resilience, and the light that lives inside all of us. Life has taken me down many unexpected paths, and each one has helped shape the voice I bring to my work today.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Like many people, my life has been shaped by both beautiful moments and very difficult ones. Within a six-month period I lost two of my brothers and my mother, which was an incredibly profound chapter of grief. I have also experienced career disappointments, personal losses, and many obstacles along the way.

What I have learned through those experiences is that struggle is part of being human. We can either allow it to define us as victims, or we can allow it to shape us into stronger, more compassionate people. I chose the second path.

Rather than focusing on what went wrong, I chose to keep moving forward, breaking barriers, learning from failure, and becoming a symbol of resilience, empathy, and love. Those challenges ultimately gave me the strength and perspective that guide my work today.

What do people usually not know about you?

People often ask about my age, and it always makes me smile because I have never believed that age defines what a person can do. I prefer not to focus on numbers. What matters most to me is how fully we live the time we are given.

Life has taught me that our experiences, both joyful and difficult, shape who we become. I believe the reason I still approach life with curiosity and enthusiasm is because I have chosen to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles along the way.

To me, life is not about age. It is about how much courage, gratitude, and passion you bring to the years you are given.

What sets you apart from others?

What sets me apart is probably my deep connection to what I often describe as “the light.” From a very young age I felt a strong awareness of the energy that connects all of us, whether someone calls that God, the universe, or simply the power of love.

That awareness has shaped the way I approach life and my work. I have a deep passion for storytelling, creativity, and finding meaning even in difficult moments. Passion is essential if you want to break through barriers, overcome failures, and keep moving forward.

For me, creativity and compassion are inseparable. I try to bring both into everything I do.

What are your upcoming major events?

This year is shaping up to be an exciting chapter. I will be walking in Miami Fashion Week with RX Runway, and I was recently honored as Top Model 2026 with the organization.

On the filmmaking side, several projects are moving forward. The environmental documentary Pick It Up America: Life is a Beach continues to receive recognition and awards internationally. We also have a short comedy project, Vixen Comforts Fixen, created with filmmaker Klor Rowland, and a documentary titled The Sound of the Soul coming soon with Elena Thornton.

It’s a very creative season, and I’m grateful for the opportunities to continue telling meaningful stories.

What expert advice would you like to give?

I don’t see myself as an expert. I see myself as someone who has lived, learned, and kept moving forward. If I could share one piece of advice, it would be this: look within.

Inside each of us is an extraordinary universe. Our bodies are made up of trillions of cells working together in remarkable harmony. When we learn to believe in ourselves and align our thoughts with that inner strength, the way we move through the world begins to change.

Instead of chasing success or validation, focus on becoming the strongest, most authentic version of yourself. When you truly believe in your own inner power, opportunities and possibilities have a way of finding you.
