Can you introduce yourself and share your experience as a hairdresser?

I’m Joseph Saad, and with 25 years of experience in the hair industry, I’ve had the privilege of working with numerous clients and staying on top of the latest trends. My journey as a hairdresser began with a passion for creativity and a desire to make people look and feel their best. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and attention to detail.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from celebrities to everyday individuals looking for a fresh new look. Each client presents a unique challenge, and I enjoy the process of understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. My experience has taught me the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies, and I’m always looking for ways to improve my craft.

As I look back on my 25-year journey, I’m proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the transformations I’ve helped them achieve. Whether it’s a simple trim or a full-scale makeover, I’m dedicated to delivering outstanding results that leave my clients feeling confident and beautiful.

What’s been the most challenging experience in your life, and how have you overcome it?

The hardest thing in my life has undoubtedly been the current economic and war situation in my beloved country, Lebanon. The instability and uncertainty have affected not only my business but also the lives of my family, friends, and community. It’s been a challenging time, and I’ve had to find ways to adapt and navigate the difficulties.

Despite the obstacles, I’ve learned to stay focused on my goals and find opportunities for growth. As a hairdresser, I’ve always believed in the power of transformation, and I’ve seen firsthand how a great haircut or color can boost someone’s confidence and mood. During difficult times, I’ve made it my mission to provide a haven for my clients, a place where they can escape the stresses of everyday life and feel pampered and cared for.

Through my work, I’ve also been able to support my community and contribute to the local economy. It’s been a privilege to play a small part in helping Lebanon’s beauty industry thrive, even in the face of adversity. I’m proud to be a part of a resilient and determined community that’s working together to build a brighter future.

Can you tell us a little bit about your personality and work style?

I’m a very kind-hearted person, and my work reflects my warm and caring personality. I take the time to understand my clients’ needs and preferences, and I always strive to deliver personalized service that exceeds their expectations. My kind heart also drives me to give back to my community and support local causes that are close to my heart.

My work style is bold and different, and I love experimenting with new techniques and ideas. I’m always on the lookout for inspiration, whether it’s through fashion trends, art, or music. I believe that hair is an extension of one’s personality, and I enjoy working with clients who are willing to take risks and try new things. Whether it’s a bold color or a cutting-edge style, I’m always up for a challenge and love pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

At the same time, I’m also committed to staying true to my clients’ individuality and helping them achieve the look that makes them feel confident and beautiful. I’m passionate about my work, and I’m dedicated to delivering exceptional results that leave a lasting impression.

What’s new and exciting in your career right now?

I’m currently in the process of opening my new salon in Beirut, and I’m incredibly excited about this new chapter in my career. The salon will be a reflection of my passion for beauty and my commitment to delivering exceptional service. I’ve put my heart and soul into creating a space that’s not only stylish and modern but also warm and welcoming.

The new salon will offer a range of services, from cutting-edge haircuts to luxurious treatments and pampering experiences. I’m committed to building a team of talented and dedicated professionals who share my vision and values. Together, we’ll work to create a haven for beauty and wellness in the heart of Beirut.

I’m looking forward to welcoming my clients to the new salon and working with them to achieve their beauty goals. It’s going to be an exciting journey, and I’m thrilled to share it with my friends, family, and community.

What advice would you give to aspiring hairdressers and entrepreneurs?

My advice would be to work with passion and dedication to achieve your goals. When you’re passionate about what you do, it shows in the quality of your work and the relationships you build with your clients. Don’t be afraid to take risks and try new things – it’s often the best way to learn and grow.

As an entrepreneur, it’s also essential to stay focused and adaptable. Building a successful business takes time, effort, and perseverance. There will be challenges along the way, but don’t let them discourage you. Instead, use them as opportunities to learn.
