Jorge Jara As Cover Story Interview – June 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Jorge Jara. I’m a media producer, creative strategist, and event organizer. I work behind the scenes at elite events—fashion weeks, red carpets, charity galas—and use that world to generate leads, tell stories, and build influence. I also help men level up their image and their charisma.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I was born in Ecuador and moved to the U.S. as a kid. Growing up in a military household meant constantly relocating—North Carolina, Florida, Texas, California, Virginia. I’ve battled depression, social anxiety, addiction, and financial instability. I’ve lived through riots, breakups, and more. But I’ve used every setback as a lesson, not a label. That mindset has taken me further than any degree ever could.
What do people usually not know about you?
Most people see the events, the models, the photos—but not the 4AM editing sessions, the Uber shifts to fund creative projects, or the personal losses I’ve channeled into art. I have tons of projects ranging from business ideas, movies, music ready to be developed.
What sets you apart from others?
I’m not just in the room—I know how to use the room. I’ve lived in the extremes: rich parties with wealthy entrepreneurs and doing media coverage in the rough parts of town, Ivy League circles and third-world barrios. That contrast gives me an edge. I combine real-world reference experience with a deep understanding of evolutionary psychology, intersexual dynamics, and art history literacy to understand what I cover inside and out.
What are your upcoming major events?
Los Angeles Fashion Week, Vegas Swim Week, and a couple of other events here in LA that I do media coverage and promotion for, ranging from charity events to fashion shows.
I have just self released a collection of songs on SoundCloud. (Link: https://soundcloud.com/jorge-jara-153083912/sets/gracias-dios-for-autotune-vol-1)
What expert advice would you like to give?
Suspend disbelief. Always seek to prove yourself wrong in terms of how you think one can achieve. Get mentorship to avoid repeating mistakes someone else has already gone through. Lots of people want to be lone wolves and figure it out themselves. It’s selfish, stubborn, and counterproductive. Humans didn’t build so many amazing things by themselves; they did it through networking and collaboration. You can be famous or infamous, either one is fine. But being memorable and impactful is what truly matters.
