How do you introduce yourself?
Hi. I am John Minch.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My Father died when I was 16. I played Professional Baseball, and had a number of physical injuries that also led to mental struggles. Trying to navigate Acting and Modeling while also paying my bills !
What do people usually not know about you?
I run an Epoxy Coating company – eaglefloors.com. I’ve also had a long list of odd jobs from Assistant Brick Mason (carrying all the Cinder Blocks)in Cortland, New York; to wrangling a Bull on foot in Staunton, Virginia; and many things in between.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
I’m not sure what other people do but my parents taught me to be responsible, and how to work. Most things I’ve been successful at required hard work, and dedication.
What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform?
I’m working on the Fang Jackson Series with Allen Brown 2, and his Lloid Streaming Service. I’m also preparing for a Supporting Role in Timothy Brandon’s latest Feature Film. Working on Moneyball I got to have lunch with Philip Seymor Hoffman a couple times, and watch him work in person. Watching the playback for a scene in the Duster pilot next to J.J. Abrams.
What expert advice would you like to give?
The thing that has helped me the most is looking ahead to prepare. What do I have tomorrow, next week, next month, etc., and planning my time accordingly.
