Jason DeStefano was recently interviewed by TheCelebrity.Online Magazine and below is the Q&A session we had with Jason.
Jason DeStefano As Cover Story Interview – June 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Jason DeStefano, and I am a filmmaker, writer, and recording artist from the New York City metro area. My career in the entertainment industry began with screenwriting, and then eventually branched out into producing, directing, and acting. As part of this transition, I started an independent production company called Divinity Universal, where my wife Analyn and I have conceptualized and overseen the development and production of a number of feature films, short films, and TV series.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
One of the main struggles that I went through early in life was trying to find time for my entertainment industry pursuits. Balancing both my creative life and a more practical full-time job that paid the bills when I was first starting out as a screenwriter was very challenging. The writing was essentially more of a part-time hobby back at the beginning, but then eventually became something bigger.
What do people usually not know about you?
When people first meet me, they usually don’t know how focused on God my life is. Analyn and I strive to make God the center of every aspect of our lives.
What sets you apart from others?
My willingness to take on pretty much any creative challenge, along with my entrepreneurial spirit and a “Leonardo DaVinci mindset” that is constantly striving to learn, grow, and become more well-rounded.
What are your upcoming major events?
My company Divinity Universal is going to be releasing several of our new projects later this year, including a remix album entitled “It’s Still the Beginning of Eternity,” which is a follow up to our 2024 album “The Beginning of Eternity” that was released under our artist name Archangel One. We will also be releasing a book over the summer entitled “Timeless Wisdom for the New Age,” as well as several films over the next year including two sci-fi features called “Asleep in Armageddon” and “Universal Intelligence Agency.”
What expert advice would you like to give?
Never give up on your dreams. If you want to make it in the entertainment industry, you’ll need to be very persistent and patient, and you have to have a positive mindset. You’re probably not going to become a star overnight, but believing that you’ll eventually succeed if you’re dedicated to your dream and willing to consistently work hard to reach it is important. Being resourceful and well-rounded is also very important, especially given how quickly the industry is changing nowadays… and networking with other people in the industry is equally important.
