Jasmine Kheen As Cover Story Interview – March 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, my name is Jasmine Kheen. I’m a Norwegian, London-based actress with a BA in Screen acting from Met Film School. My most recent work includes playing Clarissa in The R.I.P. Man, and Sara in the upcoming short film Dance With Me. In addition to being an actress, I am a writer and aspiring producer.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I have gone through a lot which has made me the person I am today, and also probably pushed me towards acting, where you’re confronted with vulnerability and difficult feelings all the time. Along with the instability of the career. I have moved around a lot growing up and always had to start a new. Mental health and difficult family relationships plagued my teenage years, and it’s only in the past few years after growing up that I’ve been able to forgive and forget. And I feel like a completely different character in a completely different film or season of my life.

What do people usually not know about you?

Funnily enough, people seem to perceive me as confident and that I somehow don’t work. Which is hilarious cause all I do is stop myself from and overthinking and work. I don’t really have much of a social life and I’m to a lot of people’s surprise, naturally an introvert. I think it can be taken in the wrong way sometimes like if I go a long time without responding simply cause I need alone time to recharge.

What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?

I think having grown up around different cultures in different countries has given me a good understanding of people and adaptability in terms of communication. Having been through everything I have had given me strength and vulnerability, and a different level of empathy I’ve noticed some people don’t have. I stay curious, and I constantly look at how I can improve instead of getting bogged down by failure.

What are your upcoming major events – unforgettable moments or projects you want to promote?

I’m executive producing a film called Watching The Detectives and writing some exciting projects that I can’t wait to start filming! The sequel to R.I.P. Man is currently being filmed and will come out later this year. A short film I starred in and filmed in Paris last year, called Dance With Me, is coming out soon. I’ve also received my first nominations for best actress and best scream queen at MegaCon, Indie Horror Junkie’s film festival in Orlando, Florida. Which I am incredibly excited about! So there’s a lot I’m looking forward to and I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been presented with.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Don’t take life too seriously, we’re on a floating rock in the middle of space, who cares. And look at the bright side of things. Negativity kills progress. Stay curious.
