How do you introduce yourself?
I go by James Artissen. I am a Grammy Nominated Music Producer, Songwriter, and Singer.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I’ve gone through Depression, Anxiety, People not believing in my vision, non-family support, and just the trials, and tribulations of the entertainment business.
What do people usually not know about you?
I’m a homebody. If I am not on the road, working or recording I am usually home in my solitude. I have also become a purist so my vinyl collection has grown a lot.
What sets you apart from others?
I would say my consistency, drive, passion, and ear for creativity when things feel like they won’t change.
What are your upcoming major events?
I am currently working on my debut album. So be on the lookout for that top of 2026 along with a tour.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Enjoy your art. Don’t do it for the wrong reasons. Always learn from those who are better than you.
