Jaedra DiGiammarino As Cover Story Interview – January 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

Jaedra DiGiammarino; actor, model, yogi.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

The artist’s constant struggle between income and passion. I would love to fill every moment of my life doing exactly what I love; producing creative art through movie making and photography. Unfortunately I have yet to crack the code on how to do this and make a living at it. So I’ve got a lot of odd jobs to make ends meet. The struggle is the division of my time and energy. Needless to say I’ve gotten very good at time management and working with Google calendar!

What do people usually not know about you?

Ya know what? People who find me through instagram often think I am a tallish person but I am only 5’2”. I guess that’s the magic of photography!

What sets you apart from others?

I grew up in a family that was generally on time or early to things. My dad says, “If you’re not 5 minutes early, you’re late.” My parents weren’t military or anything and there was nothing super strict about how this rule was enforced. I was just instilled with the idea that being on time is an important part of respecting those around you. As an adult I’ve learned that in the world of amateur modeling timeliness is a pretty unique trait. Of course I’m not perfect. Sometimes things come up or, despite my incredible calendar keeping skills, I might slip up and put an event or meeting on the wrong date or hour. But in general I do my best to respect everyone’s time and photographers have expressed gratitude for this unique trait.

What are your upcoming major events?

Keep your eyes peeled for the release of horror genre king Dustin Ferguson’s first vertical flick Deep Water featuring yours truly. I am looking forward to appearing in Meg White’s movement based passion project The Red, White and Grey. Next week I’ll be shooting a short with some incredibly talented folks up in the Bay Area. My own passion project, Winifred the Woebegone, will be released on my YouTube channel this spring. And of course go check out Vincent Gargiulo’s superhero musical comedy The Dark Crusader; available for purchase at (link unavailable) Not to mention a stream of adventurous photoshoots slated for January. I’ve been out of town for a while so I am excited to get back into the studio with some of my favorite Los Angeles photographers in the new year. Follow on IG for the latest content and fun behind the scenes clips.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Another one here from my dad who used to say, “Pursue your dreams and the money will follow.” As mentioned above I have yet to find the money part but I have no regrets in following my dreams. I think I would add, “Take care of your body, mind, and spirit and the rest will fall into place.” My health is everything, when I get sick everything else in my life starts to crumble and fall apart. When I take time to take care of me everything else is, maybe not easy, but certainly more clear.
