Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

We did not grow up rich. We were from an average middle class household and my parents did all they could to make sure we had the best education possible. It was very difficult at times but it made us stronger as a family. Hardships such as racism and colourism has been very apparent throughout my career especially since relocating to the United Kingdom from Nigeria.

What do people usually not know about you?

That I am a very reserved person and prefer usually prefer my own company. People see me socially active, attending red carpet events and think I am very social that way, but I am not. Those settings really drains me and I would usually need a few days to recover. I can tell you because of my online image no one will believe this, but it’s true.

What inspired you to create your podcast, @inherspacepodcast, and what can listeners expect from your most recent episodes?

The inspiration behind @inherspacepodcast came from a desire to create a dedicated space for honest, nuanced conversations that center women’s voices—especially those that are often underrepresented. I wanted to build a platform where vulnerability, empowerment, and storytelling could coexist, allowing listeners to feel seen, heard, and inspired. It started as a passion project and has grown into a space for meaningful dialogue and real connection.

In our most recent episodes, listeners can expect powerful conversations on topics like personal growth, identity, creativity, and navigating life’s transitions. We’ve had the pleasure of speaking with inspiring women from various walks of life, including Jessica White, who was on Love Island 2024, and many others who bring depth, honesty, and boldness to the mic. Each episode is a chance to explore what it means to take up space unapologetically, and to find solidarity in shared experiences.

What sets you apart from others?

I would say my passion and authenticity. I think no one can take your authenticity from you if you are authentically you. Also, I am someone who believes that consistency can lead to success, so that plays a major role in my life and success story.

What are your upcoming major events?

I have so many red carpets events this summer that I am looking forward to attending. Also a holiday booked.

What expert advice would you like to give?

I would say “do it now” don’t wait until everything falls in place because you will be waiting forever. Nothing falls in place perfectly, you take the bull by the horn and steer it where you want. If you have an idea, a dream, whatever you want to do, begin now. Procrastinating kills every dream.
