Halimah Eastwood As Cover Story Interview – September 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Halimah Eastwood I’m a model, sports ambassador and a natural people-connector who thrives on authenticity and meaningful connections. My modelling came about organically,I was just spotted one day and asked to step in front of the camera. I said yes, and it opened a new and exciting chapter in my life. I’m magnetic in character, a problem-solver, and have excellent attention to detail, which stems from my childhood and my love of nature. I love helping people and seeing them reach their potential, especially through my sporting ambassador role in which one of the most rewarding aspects has been working with people who have disabilities to truely feel seen, represented and valued. I often hear people use the term networker, but it doesn’t really align with me. I connect with people from a place of curiosity, sincerity, and shared energy, not strategy. I believe the most meaningful connections happen organically, and they’re rarely about what you can get. I also believe energy is everything, and when we connect with others on similar frequencies, something truly special happens whether in friendship, work, or life.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
One of the hardest chapters of my life was losing my father at a young age and my siblings. It’s a kind of grief that never fully disappears, but it does shape you, quietly and profoundly. Despite that, or maybe because of it, I’ve learned how to carry joy and loss at the same time. I’m resilient, grounded, and very aware of how precious connection, time, and stillness truly are. Over the past few years, I’ve also had a series of profound life experiences that have left me deeply spiritual. They’ve shifted how I see the world, and how I choose to show up in it.Always keeping faith and gratitude at the forefront.
What do people usually not know about you?
Although I grew up in a rural environment in the UK, much of my childhood was spent at our family home in Cyprus, tucked up in the hills of Oroklini near the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque and salt lakes. Surrounded by nature, and growing fruits and vegetables I developed my keen attention to fine detail from the calmness and stillness of those early moments exploring new species of plants and flowers. I find peace in nature and quiet places, and I love being cosy at home. I’m drawn to nature and fascinated by gemstones,I find it mind-blowing to hold something the earth has hidden for thousands of years and be the first person to see it. As a child, I dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, curious about the world and its hidden stories. That dream took a different path, and I’ve always enjoyed travelling and exploring but last year I went on my first solo trip and completely fell in love with it. Now, I can’t imagine my life without solo travel. And a fun fact: I first learned to shoot a rifle with my father at age seven, turns out I’m quite the sharpshooter. I never miss my target!
What sets you apart from others?
I truly believe that everyone is individual, and that’s what makes us all unique and gifted. My gifts are being deeply intuitive, present, and emotionally intelligent. I notice things most people overlook. I see people’s potential even when they can’t see it in themselves. I want to see everyone reach their potential, because I believe that’s one of the true purposes of life. I show up authentically because otherwise you attract and align with the wrong people. I lead with sincerity, and I’ve found the biggest strength in my softness. I adapt to different people and environments naturally like water. I’m magnetic by nature and grounded by intention. I smile and offer warmth, which allows people to show up as themselves. In any space I’m in, I aim to uplift others without needing to dim my own light.
What are your upcoming major events?
I have some exciting projects on the horizon, ones that blend my love of connection, wellness, storytelling, and travel. There’s something quietly powerful coming to life. For now, I’m letting things unfold naturally, but I will say this, what’s coming next will almost certainly involve new experiences and meaningful collaborations.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Don’t let anyone convince you that you have to stay in one lane. You’re allowed to evolve, to pivot, to explore many parts of yourself. True happiness comes from being authentic and kind, not from ticking boxes or fitting neatly into someone else’s version of success. And remember: energy is powerful. Surround yourself with people who resonate on your frequency,it’s where real growth and magic happen. I also believe that good manners are a form of true beauty. How you treat people when you have nothing to gain is a reflection of who you really are. Finally, trust your intuition,it’s your internal compass and a quiet genius guiding you along your unique path.
