How do you introduce yourself?
Gilda Garza, Mexican Artist.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Growing up in Mexico, I find my roots in my hometown, Sinaloa, is a beautiful state, full of the most delicious food, the most scenic beaches, and the most inspiring people. However their are aspects of Sinaloa that have broken my heart and those reasons have also fed my inspiration.
What do people usually not know about you?
I have high IQ, I’m an accounting and finance manager, deals with the strategic management of an organization’s monetary resources is my degree but Art is my passion, is where I can share my emotions. I have shared my life through social media.
What sets you apart from others?
I believe everyone is unique. To get to the level I’ve reached you need discipline, I have pursued my dreams with discipline, preservation and the hand of God.
What are your upcoming major events?
Cannes Film Festival 2025 with Roberto Cavalli it’s an exclusive dinner and after party, I always have the best time with Cavalli. I’m part of the board member of World Woman Foundation where I’ll be speaker in Cannes about the cinematic revolution-bold, disruptive and unapologetically female-led. It’s a global movement where storytelling meets social impact and women take the lead in redefining the future of film, fashion culture and art.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Be the best version of yourself, I tell myself every day to find my inner warrior: to stand up for what I believe in and fight for my dreams and passions, with all my heart. Life is too short to not do what you love, and to not give it all you have got!
