How do you introduce yourself?
Ciao 🙂 Georgia Viero is an actress/producer/writer and ex italian tv host. Let’s say that I like to be proactive :). I also have a degree in law and another degree as a professional translator and interpreter italian-spanish. I’m based between Rome and London and at the moment I’m focusing on producing microbudget horror movies. One of them, “Behave” is on Amazon Prime, Tubi, Roku, Apple tv, Google tv amongst other platforsm.
What hardships have you gone through in life?
Several ones. Especially linked to my dad’s death when I was thirteen. I had to grow very fast and with lots of responsabilities. Also, I had to protect myself from lots of unwanted situations that happened like a domino effect since his premature “departure”. I always felt different since then. I can’t even rember how it does feel like to live with no responsabilities like a normal teen-ager. This was my burden but also my teacher. I generally do not trust people, especially professionals. I always have to triple ceck their abilities or I must have alternatives. Today I think that in this life you have 2 choises: or you survive through resilience and you find a way to express your life’s purpose or you just “throw” yourself away. I chose art. Creativity.
What do people usually not know about you?
I started to be more jealous about my private life. Some years ago I liked to share more. Now I take photos of my private moments and I keep them for myself. So there are a lot of moments that stay protected in my photogallery”…or sometimes I did not take photos at all and I just really enjoy the moment for myself. Maybe I’m getting older 😉 As regards the rest I’m quite an open book. And I like to be bold and be who I am with everybody. I love to wear a mask only when I act.
What sets you apart from others?
I don’t think to have peculiar qualities but I can say that I’m consistent, persistent and also a bit stubborn. All useful aspects in my work. I have lot of ideas and I love to warm up my inner engine and realize them.
What are your upcoming major events?
Yes! I started the pre-production of a horror movie entitled “Ad Memoriam”. A very dark story about revenge and manipulation. All set in a beautiful victorian period house in London. Also, I’m waiting the end of the post-production of the movie “Jingle Hell” filmed last january in Buenos Aires, Rome and London. It is expected to be ready for spring 2026. There’s another horror movie too in the list, “Game”, but this project will take more time to be realized.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Diversify! Cultivate a “plan B”. Especially for actors. I define the acting job “Godot”. So every actor basically waits for Godot. He could arrive or not at some point. What matters is what you do in the meantime. Build up yourself, be ready, find some parallel thing that could bring stability to your life.
