Introduction
Hi I’m Gabriela Alynn and I have been an actress since I was 8 1/2 years old. I am currently getting college credits in theatre arts with a 4.0 gpa.
Hardships
Growing up school was always something that I have loved as a person who loves to learn new things and the way they work. In elementary school, the school system changed dramatically and learning a new topic every day then moving on to the next didn’t work for my brain. I couldn’t keep up and I would cry every night trying to figure out the homework. This was the first moment where experienced anxiety. I still battle with it to this day however, I have found so many ways to cope with it and use it to fuel me to try harder or even just to try my best.
Unknown Facts
Something that people often don’t know about me is that I was homeschool from Middle School to Junior Year of high school where I attended a public school for the first time since elementary for my senior year. Fun fact I even got nominated for prom queen!
Unique Aspects
Something that sets me apart from others is my kindness towards others. I always look for the positives in people or negative situations. My outlook towards the world helps me navigate it in a way that can admire the small details and the beauty in all things around me.
Upcoming Events
One upcoming event I have coming up is a film that I am an associate producer for called Mis Primo Leo Carrillo and a play at my college titled Almost Maine.
Expert Advice
For any aspiring actors for film, tv, or theatre, the most important expert advice I can give you is to GO. FOR. IT. Any opportunity you get to audition, do it. Don’t be afraid of rejection because it will happen to you a lot in this industry. The best you can do is audition as much as you can and eventually you will book something and it will be so worth it in the end.
