Gabriel Silva As Cover Story Interview – June 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Gabriel. I am an actor, model, director, writer, and podcaster. I started acting in school plays and began formal acting and modeling classes at the Page Parkes Center for Acting and Modeling. I also coach one-on-one with Bob Luke from Bob Luke Studios. I signed with Pages Parkes Talent and booked my first job at 10 years old, sharing the big screen with Hollywood A-listers such as Ben Affleck and Zoe Saldana in Live By Night. My next big project was the opportunity to share the big screen once again with actors such as Elizabeth Ludlow, Anthony Ramos, and O’Shea Jackson in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Aside from acting, I model for the Atlanta clothing brand, FadeLife Clothing. You can catch me on the mic as I host the “Just Talk With Gabe” podcast. JTWG is available on most platforms, in addition to being streamed in over 20 different countries. In 2021, I won the Young Artist Academy™ Award for Outstanding Podcast Host. Acting, modeling, and podcasting aren’t my only passions. I also found a love for publishing as I am the CEO of a digital online magazine. Action Magazine highlights the careers of many talented people in the industry.
Currently, I am studying Cinematic Arts in college, with the hopes to continue writing, producing and directing even more projects that will bring my creative visions to life. I have already released my directorial debut short film, “Gemini,” which I wrote, directed, produced, and acted. In my second directorial short, “The Not So Scary Movie,” in addition to directing, I also wrote the script and produced it as well. In my free time, I play video games, listen to music, watch movies and television, play with my Toy Poodle, Charlie, and hang out with family and friends.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in your career to be where you are?
I wouldn’t necessarily call it a hardship, more like a vital lesson I had to learn early on. If you want to succeed in this industry, maintaining a disciplined work-life balance is essential. As a kid, that was sometimes tough to grasp. I often had to choose between hanging out with friends and memorizing scripts for auditions. And don’t even get me started on juggling schoolwork! Learning how to manage my time and prioritize responsibilities was crucial. Looking back, I think learning that lesson early on has helped me not just in my career, but with what I call “semi-adulting” as well.
What do people usually not know about you?
I am almost 100% introverted. Lol, no seriously! We had to take the Meyers-Brigg Personality Assessment for a class this semester. I knew that I was introverted, but the results even surprised me.
What sets you apart from your competitors in the industry and in life?
In both life and in this industry, I try to approach everything with a “if it’s meant for me, it’ll happen” mindset. I don’t dwell on missed opportunities, whether it’s not landing a job or something in life that does not go my way. I simply keep it moving and focus on what’s next. It makes things a lot less stressful, and I genuinely believe that when something doesn’t work out, it’s because something better is on the way.
What are your upcoming major events – Unforgettable Moments or products/services or projects that you want to promote/inform?
I will drop my third directorial project, Malfunction, soon on socials. So, stay tuned! Other than that, we are continuing with season 7 of JTWG and we have some amazing guests lined up for the rest of the season!
What expert advice would you like to give?
Dreams don’t just come true; you make them happen. Waiting around or hesitating only leaves room for doubt. If you don’t take the leap, you’ll always be left wondering what could have been. Success starts with action, not just intention. Failure is just a plot twist, not the end of your story.
