De’Borah Ford As Cover Story Interview Feature – TheCelebrity.Online January 2023 Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
De’Borah Ford: I am a faith-filled, positive, possibility thinker. I’m an authentic, transformational servant-leader, who endeavors to bring out the best in others, thereby helping them to see beyond themselves to reach their fullest potential. Currently, I’m an Academic Advisor and Success Coach, who assists students with having a wonderful educational experience by sharing important information with them, along with guiding them to become strong and successful students.
How was the transition from your childhood into adulthood/teenage and what good and bad things do you remember?
De’Borah Ford: I had a very good childhood and grew up in a home with both of my parents. I was blessed and fortunate to be reared in church, and my spirituality has grown and sustained me over the years. I did have a period when I was a bit wayward, as we all do. However, when I learned what life was all about – God and the only love that can be obtained in and through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I learned what was important, along with those things that should be valued versus those that shouldn’t be.
Struggle – What hardships have you faced during your life?
De’Borah Ford: The hardships that I faced were the same as average families. A particular challenge that was difficult for me was bullying. However, at that time, it really wasn’t called that. We would simply refer to it as being teased.
What things people usually do not know about you?
De’Borah Ford: A particular thing that people don’t usually know about me is that I love classical music. Mozart is my favorite composer, and I also love cats. They are so cute and clever. There is never a dull moment with them.
What make you unique from your competitors in the industry and life?
De’Borah Ford: I truly have a heart for people. I love advising, but I love coaching people in which to assist them with finding the answers they need, for the most part.
What are your diet preference and physical measurements?
De’Borah Ford: I eat plenty of vegetables – not fruit because of the natural sugars. However, I love vegetables, especially salads.
What are the major Upcoming Events & Unforgettable Moments or products/services that you want to promote/inform our readers about?
De’Borah Ford: I plan to complete my Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership this year, and after that I will pursue an MBA. Also, I will be transitioning my career into the coaching field.
What expert advice would you like to share?
De’Borah Ford: As I am now at my midpoint in life, I’m endeavoring to pursue the life of my dreams. It is never too late to go after your heart’s desires. Trust that God will make away for you to achieve your goals. Then, plan, pray, and work.
