How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Charlotte Ysnel, I am an actress and model. I’ve had the chance to take part in several television and advertising projects, which allowed me to explore different facets of acting and working in front of the camera. I am also a young mother of a 14‑month‑old boy, and I am expecting my second child. This journey transforms how I see the world and greatly fuels my creativity. Today, I am building a career where I combine my love for the stage, artistic expression, and my family life.
Hardships – What difficulties have you encountered in life?
Like many, I have gone through periods of doubt, especially while trying to establish myself in a highly competitive artistic field. Motherhood also presented new challenges: finding balance between my passion, my work, and my new role as a mother. But each hardship has made me stronger. They taught me to listen to my own rhythm, to assert myself, and to trust my abilities, both on set and in life.
What do people usually not know about you?
People often don’t realize how persistent I am. Behind the photos, castings, and shoots, there is a lot of work, discipline, and resilience. I am frequently seen smiling, yet I am also very determined and capable of taking on big challenges, even more so now that I am a mother. I need to have several projects going on at the same time.
What sets you apart from others?
My ability to stay authentic in every circumstance. Whether in front of the camera or in my personal life, I always strive to convey something genuine. Being a young mother while pursuing a career in the arts has also given me a special sensitivity: I am more connected to my emotions, more patient, and more aware of what I want to achieve.
What are your upcoming major events?
The arrival of my second child is obviously a key moment and a great source of joy. Professionally, I am also preparing several projects: new castings, photo collaborations, and possible participation in campaigns after my maternity leave. I enjoy staying active and see this year as an inspiring period of transition.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Whether in the artistic world or in life, the most important thing is to believe in yourself and not compare yourself to others. In this industry, people will always judge you based on your appearance or energy, but the most valuable asset you can cultivate is your uniqueness. And for young mothers: never let motherhood make you think you have to put your dreams on hold. On the contrary, it can become your greatest strength.
