How do you introduce yourself?
“My name is Araksya Hovsepyan — I wear many hats with passion and pride. I am an artist who paints with syringes, a celebrity plastic surgery consultant, and a pickleball superstar with my own private artsy pickleball skirt company. My life blends creativity, precision, and sport, making every day feel like a new canvas.”
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
“Life hasn’t always been smooth. I’ve faced challenges of self-discovery, adapting to new cultures, and carving out space in industries that don’t easily open their doors to women with big visions. But those struggles became stepping stones — each challenge made me more resilient, creative, and driven to turn setbacks into art, athletic triumphs, and entrepreneurial opportunities.”
What do people usually not know about you?
“Most people don’t know that beyond my art and pickleball career, I am also a professional ballroom dancer. Dance has been a huge part of my life — it’s where my love for discipline, elegance, and expression began.”
What sets you apart from others?
“What sets me apart is the way I merge worlds that don’t usually intersect — medicine and art, sports and fashion, business and creativity. I’m not afraid to be unconventional. Whether I’m designing a one-of-a-kind pickleball skirt, painting with medical tools, or stepping onto the court, I bring authenticity, artistry, and a touch of elegance that is uniquely mine.”
What are your upcoming major events?
“My next major event is competing in a pickleball tournament in Dubai — an exciting milestone where sport, culture, and celebration meet. I’m also expanding my artsy pickleball skirt line to reach more players who want to feel confident and stylish both on and off the court.”
What expert advice would you like to give?
“My advice is simple: embrace all sides of who you are. Don’t let society put you in one box. Your art, sport, career, and passions can all coexist and make you extraordinary. Work hard, stay consistent, but also don’t forget to enjoy the journey and celebrate your uniqueness along the way.”
