Anna Bellisi As Cover Story Interview – November 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Anna Bellisi, a model, actress, photographer, and this year’s Miss Congeniality winner at the Swimsuit USA International Pageant! I started over after a life chapter where I poured my heart into being a full-time stepmom and homemaker. When everything changed, I rebuilt from the ground up, with no safety net, just determination, confidence, and an unwavering belief in who I could become. Today, I’m living the life I used to only imagine, and I use my platform to inspire both women and men to rise, reinvent, and create a life they’re proud of, no matter where they’re starting.
What hardships have you gone through in life?
Strength didn’t come to me gently; I earned it through surviving things I never expected to face. In high school, I endured bullying that pushed me to a breaking point. I questioned whether I belonged in this world at all, but choosing to stay became the foundation of my resilience. Later, I entered a marriage that looked loving from the outside but became emotionally and physically damaging behind closed doors. I found myself in a relationship marked by addiction to substances and unhealthy behaviors, and cycles of control and abuse that slowly stripped away my identity and confidence. There came a day when I realized staying would cost me my safety and my future. Leaving wasn’t easy; I left with zero dollars, a broken heart, and a determination not to lose myself. I share my story because too many people, men and women, suffer in silence in relationships and are sometimes afraid to walk away due to the fear of being alone or starting over. I walked away. I rebuilt. And I became someone I’m proud of — someone that younger version of me desperately needed.
What do people usually not know about you?
A lot of people don’t know that I first modeled at seven years old and continued lightly through my teens. Eventually, I moved behind the camera as a photographer because I wanted women to feel safe, confident, and respected in front of it, something I didn’t always feel myself when I was younger. I went on to build a photography career for over fifteen years before returning to modeling and acting, stronger, wiser, and fully in control of my voice and image. And when I left my marriage, I left with nothing to support me financially and rebuilt everything from scratch. That chapter taught me that rock bottom can also be the foundation for your rise. People should also know that I’m an OG Swiftie. Her music has been helping me through the hardest moments of my life since I was 15 and her first song was released. Her lyrics have carried me through chapters I didn’t think I’d survive.
What sets you apart from others?
I lead with hope, kindness, and love. I’m a friend to everyone because I never judge a book by its cover — you never know what someone has been through or what silent battle they’re fighting. I genuinely love helping others, because no matter what someone is walking through, you can always be a light. Sometimes a single kind word or moment of grace is all someone needs to stand back up, believe again, and find hope. I’ve been at rock bottom before, and I know how powerful it is when someone chooses compassion instead of judgment. I don’t spend energy on revenge or proving people wrong. I trust that the truth always rises, and karma handles the rest. My focus is on growth, healing, and becoming the woman I needed when I was younger. People feel my presence, not because I’m loud, but because I’ve rebuilt myself from the inside. There’s a strength and softness that only comes from starting over and choosing grace every time. It’s something money can’t buy or fake. And I’m only just beginning to step into my light. In just one year, I have: • Modeled on the Golden Globes red carpet • Walked for MAXIM Swim • Walked for Honey Birdette • Competed in the Swimsuit USA preliminaries in Beverly Hills • Won Miss Congeniality at the Swimsuit USA International competition in Mexico • And recently completed my first shoot with Playboy.
What are your upcoming major events?
I’m currently competing in the Ultimate Playmate Search and would love support and votes (link in my IG bio!). I’m also in the process of launching a children’s book, beginning to write my life story, and planning to release my podcast in January, where I’ll be sharing conversations around empowerment, healing, my glow up, the entertainment industry and turning life’s challenges into purpose. And this holiday season, I’ll be in Austin spending time with my three nieces.. they call me Auntie Anna and it is my most favorite role that I’ve received.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Don’t fear starting over; fear staying somewhere that shrinks you. Whether you’re healing from trauma, leaving a relationship, rebuilding financially, or rediscovering yourself, keep going. Progress counts even when no one sees it. Invest in your confidence. Honor your boundaries. Remember: your life doesn’t fall apart when you choose yourself; it falls into place. Your comeback can be stronger, softer, wiser, and more beautiful than you ever imagined, and you don’t have to prove anything to anyone but yourself. My favorite quote from Eleanor Roosevelt that has stuck with me since I was in high school is: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” That belief helped me get to where I am today, and it continues to be my mantra as I move forward toward more of my goals.
