Taz Bentii As Cover Story Interview – October 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

What’s up! It’s Taz Bentii, a Canadian artist from Ottawa, Canada, who is hitting major milestones and touring across the United States.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I’ve really struggled with school because I’m dyslexic and have ADHD. I’ve also experienced the loss of some friends I grew up with, which has been another difficult part of my journey.

What do people usually not know about you?

People may not know that I’m dyslexic and a songwriter. I also used to DJ, and something else they might not know is that I speak French.

What sets you apart from others?

I’m highly motivated, and I believe in manifesting my goals and staying determined to achieve them. I feel like the new generation can sometimes lack motivation, although I don’t blame them entirely. I believe it’s important to recognize the distractions that are intentionally placed in front of us and stay focused on what truly matters.

What are your upcoming major events?

I recently secured a sponsorship with True Religion, and I’m doing a free show in my hometown in November. I’ve also just finished my promotional tour in Florida. One unforgettable moment in my career was performing alongside Waka Flocka in Arkansas.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Never give up, dream big, and believe in manifestation. It might sound stupid to some people, but I believe everything starts with your mindset.
