Qing Viktorious Shaman As Cover Story Interview – October 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
My name is QingViktoriousShaman. I’m the CEO and founder of Qing & Kween Art Haus, a publishing agency and production company dedicated to creator ownership. Through books, films, original intellectual property, and educational resources, I show artists, entrepreneurs, and storytellers how to build sustainable creative ecosystems. I am guided by the belief that creativity is most powerful when it is owned. My mission is to empower creators to make art, own everything, and build legacies that last.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My biggest struggle was learning how to trust the voice within, end the war with myself, and follow the instincts that allow me to live the creative life meant for me. I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was fourteen. Still, I only pursued opportunities that my family deemed worthy: the scientific, analytical spaces they loved to brag to their friends about. This meant never allowing artistry or creative pursuits to guide my path.
After COVID, I knew that creative pursuits were all that mattered to me, but short-sighted investments and failed partnerships landed me in deep financial trouble. I lost my home. My children and I lived in my brother’s basement. My brother detested what had become of me. I had gone from earning more than $500,000 a year to barely scraping by on the limited income I earned through occasional production assistant work for television commercials.
I knew I was building something real: a career in film and publishing that aligned with my true calling and purpose. I wanted to be an example for all creatives who were ready to own what they created and thrive because of it.
Unfortunately, my brother did not share my optimism about the future I was so diligently creating. He insisted that I either get a “real job” or leave his home. I tried to find work, any kind of work that would satisfy the vision he had for me while still leaving space for what mattered most. But that wasn’t enough. He wanted me to abandon my creative pursuits entirely. In the tug-of-war over my own destiny, he put us out. One week before Christmas, my children and I were homeless in Brooklyn, New York.
But I climbed my way out. We stayed in a motel in New Jersey and then surfed the couches of friends. By the following February, I had landed the contract that launched Qing & Kween Art Haus in its current form. With the help of my chosen family and a steadfast resolve, I propelled myself toward where I knew I was meant to be.
Being at odds with my brother, the person I had lived for and moved mountains for during his own times of need, was devastating. But being forced to choose between him and myself was the stand I needed to take. I had to learn how to choose myself. Once I did, all the plans and everything I had been manifesting came to fruition. I haven’t looked back since.
What do people usually not know about you?
Most people don’t know that I didn’t come out as queer and non-binary until I was 36 years old.
Most people don’t know that I am a shaman, a spiritual conduit who sees beyond the veil of reality and lives in service of those who are ready to heal from generational trauma and live the lives they are meant to live.
Most people don’t know that I changed my name. QingViktoriousShaman is a moniker that honors my place in a long lineage of healers and storytellers dating back to the first ancestors.
Most people don’t know that my upcoming book is actually my second foray into writing. As a research psychologist with two PhDs, one in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and the other in Systems Engineering, I have written many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and global research reports. Some of my writing has been included in New York Times bestselling titles. However, all of these pieces are credited under my dead name.
What sets you apart from others?
I am set apart because I know who I am. I am a direct descendant of the great I AM, the Source of all that is. The inner voice that guides me is an echo of the same voice that spoke the Big Bang into existence.
I am set apart because I know why I’m here. I am here to remind others that they, too, are descendants of Source. We are the creators and destroyers of our own lives. It is up to each of us to choose and decide what we will do with our individual portions of time and space.
With this mindset, there is no competition. I am on a journey to become the best version of myself.
What are your upcoming major events?
I’m thrilled to announce the release of Brilliant & Broke: How Creators Can Profit from Their Ideas—Without Giving Their Value Away. This is much more than a book launch. It’s the beginning of a complete ecosystem designed to help creators move from uncertainty to ownership.
Alongside the book, I’m releasing The Creator Value Codex, a digital companion PDF that helps creators recognize, articulate, and protect the true value of their ideas. I’m also launching the Sovereign by Design Journal, a guided journal that helps creators develop the mindset, habits, and systems needed to build a life of ownership.
The SOVEREIGN merchandise collection serves as a daily reminder to end the war with yourself and embrace your creative authority. Finally, I’m launching the new Qing & Kween Art Haus website. It is a destination where creators can access assessments, educational resources, publishing and production services, and the tools they need to build creative businesses they truly own.
Together, these resources give creators practical tools to gain clarity, protect their intellectual property, develop sustainable creative businesses, and create lasting wealth from the work they were born to make.
This launch reflects the mission behind Qing & Kween Art Haus: Make Art. Own Everything. I intend for every creator who encounters this work to walk away believing that they no longer have to choose between creating meaningful work and building a prosperous future. They can do both.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Every day, take one step toward the creative life you want, no matter how small that step may be. It is still progress. It is an affirmation to your inner self that says, “I hear you, and I’m listening to your guidance.”
By affirming your own inner voice, you end the war with yourself. You become the sovereign creator you were born to be.
