Alessio Filippelli As Cover Story Interview – June 2026 Magazine Edition

Alessio Filippelli

Alessio Filippelli’s journey is a powerful example of resilience, ambition, and staying true to one’s vision. Originally from Italy, he left home at a young age to pursue opportunities abroad, overcoming rejection, financial struggles, and the challenges of carving out a place in competitive industries. Today, as an actor, creative entrepreneur, and storyteller, Filippelli continues to make his mark, most recently starring as Rick in ReelShort’s original series My Alpha Boss. Guided by authenticity and a passion for meaningful storytelling, he inspires others to stop waiting for permission, embrace their individuality, and take bold steps toward their dreams.

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Alessio Filippelli, an actor, creative entrepreneur, and storyteller originally from Italy. I moved abroad at a young age with a dream and no real safety net, and since then I’ve built a career across entertainment, fashion, and media. Most recently, audiences can see me as Rick, the werewolf lead in ReelShort’s new original series My Alpha Boss. No matter the project, my goal has always been the same: to tell stories that make people feel seen, inspired, and empowered.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

Like many people, my journey wasn’t linear. I left Italy when I was very young to pursue opportunities that didn’t yet exist for me back home. There were moments of uncertainty, rejection, financial struggles, and times when I felt like I had to prove myself twice as hard just to earn a seat at the table.

Growing up, I also struggled with feeling different and not always fitting into the environments around me. Those experiences taught me resilience, self-belief, and the importance of staying authentic even when it’s uncomfortable. Looking back, every obstacle became part of the foundation that brought me where I am today.

What do people usually not know about you?

People often see the public side of my career and assume I’ve always been confident. The truth is that I’m actually very introspective. I’m constantly questioning, learning, and evolving.

Something else many people don’t know is that before entertainment, I worked in completely different industries and wore many hats. Every chapter of my life taught me something valuable. I also value my privacy deeply, especially when it comes to my family and the people I love. The version people see online is only a small part of who I am.

What sets you apart from others?

I think what sets me apart is my ability to merge creativity with purpose. I’ve never been interested in simply being visible—I want my work to mean something.

Whether I’m acting, producing, building brands, or creating content, I approach everything through storytelling. I don’t believe in fitting into one box. I’ve built my career by embracing every part of who I am rather than choosing just one lane. That willingness to evolve, take risks, and stay authentic has become my greatest strength.

What are your upcoming major events?

Right now, the biggest focus is the release of My Alpha Boss, streaming exclusively on ReelShort, where I play Rick. It’s an exciting new chapter for me because audiences get to see a completely different side of my work through acting.

Beyond that, I’m continuing to expand my presence across film, television, and international entertainment projects. There are several exciting collaborations, appearances, and creative ventures currently in development that I’ll be announcing soon. This year is all about stepping further into storytelling and bringing bigger projects to life.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Stop waiting for permission.

A lot of people spend years waiting for someone to validate their dreams before they start. The reality is that confidence comes after action, not before it. Take the first step even when you’re scared, even when you’re not ready, and even when nobody understands your vision yet.

Your journey doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s. Focus on consistency, stay curious, and remember that authenticity will always outlast trends.
