Jugal Tyagi As Cover Story Interview – February 2026 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Co-Founder of SWAG Auto Group, Masters in Commerce. I’m the co-founder of Swag Auto Group, and my journey is a reminder that where you start doesn’t define where you can go. Eight years ago, I came to Canada with no money, no network, and no guarantees—only belief, discipline, and a relentless work ethic. I built my foundation at General Motors, becoming a top-performing salesperson and later a sales manager, while earning a Master’s degree in Commerce that strengthened my business mindset. Taking a leap of faith, I turned experience into action and built Swag Auto Group into a multimillion-dollar company, driven by resilience, integrity, and the belief that with focus and persistence, anything is possible.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Before success, there was struggle—especially during my early years in Canada. As an international student, I worked part-time on minimum wage while taking care of everything myself, from cooking and cleaning to making sure I stayed focused on my studies and earned good grades. Some days meant changing three buses in extreme cold just to get to work, coming home exhausted, and repeating the same routine the next day. It was physically and emotionally draining, but I’m grateful for that phase of my life because it shaped my character, resilience, and discipline. Even though I’ve come very far from those days, I carry that experience with me to stay grounded. Canada gave me opportunity and, more importantly, respected my hard work—and that belief continues to motivate me every day.
What do people usually not know about you?
What most people don’t know about me is how many risks I took and how much I sacrificed along the way. I worked over ten different jobs, hustled day and night, barely slept, and often ate the bare minimum just to keep moving forward. I lived simply, not because it was easy, but because I refused to give up on my goals. There were moments of doubt, breakdowns, and real fear—but I kept going. Through it all, I never compromised my morals, my values, or my belief in good karma. Even while struggling, I made it a point to help others, because success without integrity never felt like real success to me.
What sets you apart from others?
I always choose the harder right over the easy wrong, and I never let my wishbone grow where a backbone should be. I’m committed to learning every single day, staying open-minded, and constantly evolving. I genuinely love helping people, because I believe success means nothing if it isn’t shared. I’m deeply aware that life is short, and I’m grateful for every single day I get—so I choose to live fully, with intention and purpose. Above all, I believe in working on my consciousness, because how you think, who you become, and how you treat others ultimately define the life you build.

What expert advice would you like to give?
My advice is simple but crucial: always follow your gut, take risks, and step out of your comfort zone. You’re often just one decision away from creating the life you want. I was earning a six-figure salary and enjoying luxury cars, yet I chose to quit and take the harder path—because true growth comes from challenge, not comfort. The key is to keep hustling, learning, and pushing yourself again and again. Nothing can replace hard work, but while you chase your dreams, don’t forget to make time for your loved ones and family—time flies, and those moments are priceless.
