How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Kristy Carrico (AKA Keeks Speaks), founder of Alter3d®, an apparel and conceptual brand built around identity, perception, and how those shape the way we think, relate, and create. I’m an International #1 Best-Selling Author, entrepreneur, and creative strategist.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I grew up in the foster care system and became a mother very young, which required me to grow up quickly while navigating instability and responsibility at the same time. I’ve rebuilt my life more than once and learned how to adapt inside environments that weren’t designed for how my brain moves. Those experiences shaped me in a BIG way.
What do people usually not know about you?
People often see the creativity and confidence, but not the level of intention behind it. I’m deeply thoughtful, highly self-aware, and constantly refining how I think and operate. What looks natural on the outside is supported by a lot of internal work.
What sets you apart from others?
My vision, clarity, and foresight give me the edge. I can easily recognize what’s important early on and that allows me to take decisive action quickly.
What are your upcoming major events or projects?
I’m currently focused on expanding Alter3d® apparel and continuing my written work connected to the brand.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Do the thing. Hesitation is the silent killer of dreams. Pay attention to how you think and feel… and build systems that support it. When you work with your gifts instead of against them, progress becomes easier and more consistent.
