Ingrid Joli As Cover Story Interview – January 2026 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

Hi, I’m Ingrid Joli, founder and creative director of One Joli Girl, a fashion production and modeling company. Growing up in a family of creatives—my late father, a talented tailor, and my mother, a hairstylist and small business owner—I learned early the value of artistry, dedication, and entrepreneurship. I’ve competed as a beauty pageant contestant and have been featured as a published model in magazines and catalogs, giving me firsthand experience in the fashion and media industries. I have a deep love for travel, culture, languages, and fashion, which inspires my work and allows me to create experiences that are globally inspired, elegant, and meaningful.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

I count my struggles as a virtue. Growing up as a Latin Afro-Caribbean woman, I faced challenges with learning and discrimination, yet none of that stopped me from pursuing my dreams. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve also faced moments of self-doubt and financial uncertainty. These experiences taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of believing in my vision. They have shaped me into the determined and innovative person I am today.

What do people usually not know about you?

Many people see the glamour of fashion shows, but few know how much planning, attention to detail, and heart goes into every event. I’m deeply involved in every aspect—from design curation to mentoring models—making sure each production reflects artistry, elegance, and authenticity. I also love exploring new cultures and languages, which inspires creativity in the way I bring fashion and art together.

What sets you apart from others?

I combine creativity with a strong business vision, rooted in a family legacy of craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. My love for travel, culture, languages, and fashion allows me to bring diverse perspectives into my work. What truly sets me apart is my commitment to empowering others—through mentoring models, supporting designers, and engaging in community and philanthropic outreach. My productions aren’t just about showcasing fashion—they’re about creating meaningful experiences, inspiring confidence, and leaving a lasting cultural impact.

What are your upcoming major events?

We have two exciting events coming up this February: RENU Fashion Night: Cupid’s Gold on February 6 in Palm Beach, Florida, and Fashion Night on Brickell on February 20 in Miami. Both events will feature local designers, models, and cultural performances, celebrating fashion and art while supporting philanthropic causes in our community. I’m also preparing future collaborations that blend fashion, art, and philanthropy, making each event unforgettable while giving back to those in need.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Stay true to your vision and never underestimate the power of persistence. Success comes from combining creativity, discipline, and genuine connections. Always invest in yourself and your craft—opportunities follow dedication.
