Dina Kabdolla As Cover Story Interview – November 2025 Magazine Edition

How do you introduce yourself?

I’m Dina Kabdolla — a visionary artist, designer, and founder of AYA by DK, a sustainable art and fashion brand where every piece tells a story of transformation. My philosophy is simple: “Art is me, me is fashion.” Through my work, I merge fine art, upcycled materials, and emotional storytelling to empower women and spark conversations about purpose, beauty, and sustainability.

Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?

My biggest struggle has been balancing survival with creation — trying to grow a brand and fulfill my vision while facing financial limitations and personal challenges. There were times when I had to create collections with one hand or reuse materials others considered waste. But those moments shaped my creativity and discipline; they taught me to turn struggle into art and obstacles into purpose.

What do people usually not know about you?

Many don’t know that I create my artwork from recycled candy and snack wrappers — transforming something disposable into something divine. Every piece I make carries energetic intention; each fold, color, and symbol is infused with purpose, healing, and empowerment. My signature new collection, “Your Art Has Been Served,” is an embodiment of that idea. It reimagines consumer waste as sacred art — merging fashion, energy work, and storytelling to remind people that even what’s been “used” or “discarded” can be reborn with value and beauty. The collection has evolved into art prints, ritual candles, and affirmational pieces that activate specific energies — from grace and love to courage and abundance — through the artwork itself, not through crystals or trends.

What sets you apart from others?

I don’t just design clothes or products — I design energy experiences. Each creation from AYA by DK carries a story, emotion, and deeper intention. My “Your Art Has Been Served” collection, for example, bridges sustainability and spirituality — transforming recycled wrappers into couture-inspired art and empowering rituals that connect beauty with consciousness. My work isn’t driven by trends; it’s soul-based design. I blend artistic vision, sustainability, and spiritual storytelling to transform everyday materials into wearable messages of self-worth and divine transformation — turning consumer culture into conscious culture.

What are your upcoming major events?

I’m preparing to showcase Your Art Has Been Served at upcoming sustainable art and fashion exhibitions while expanding AYA by DK’s presence through new collaborations and features.

What expert advice would you like to give?

Stay authentic. In a world that rewards trends, the only timeless thing you can offer is your truth. Whether you’re building a business, brand, or identity — create from a place of alignment, not comparison. Your pain can become your platform, your art your voice.
