How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Dayna Brito. I am 31 years old. Born and Raised in New York. My mother is Colombian. My father is Lebanese. I speak both English and Spanish fluently. My mother raised me along with my stepdad who I consider to be my father. I have always been extremely passionate about fashion. I absolutely love it.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My biggest hardship in life was that I was bullied by my classmates in Middle school. It was a very difficult time for me because at this age, I was struggling with low self esteem. However, this bad experience made me stronger. God helped me get through it. It built my character today.
What do people usually not know about you?
People assume that I am conceited because they see all the glamour but in reality, I am extremely humble. I believe that there are still good people out there. I always give the best of me in all relationships.
What sets you apart from others?
People tend to give up when they don’t see results. I don’t get discouraged even if I am not seeing results. It may not happen today but it can happen six months from now. Just because it doesn’t happen immediately doesn’t mean it will never happen. My determination sets me apart from many people.
What are your upcoming major events?
My upcoming major events are collaborations with different brands from clothing to skincare to makeup. I am so grateful for the opportunity of collaborating with big brands and creating beautiful content.
What expert advice would you like to give?
My expert advice is do not give up. Giving up is the easy way out. Sometimes we want things to happen right away but good things take time. If you work hard towards something, you will see the results in due time. Believe in yourself.
