How do you introduce yourself?
I introduce myself as Sky, Sky is my identity I have evolved into in the past decades.
Struggle – What hardships have you have gone through in life?
Wow this is a good question. I would say education was the biggest struggle for me growing up. The struggle was the focus and having privacy in highschool as my career started to grow as a teen. Eventually moving from my hometown made my education not as hard and I was able to focus in a new environment without any major issues, and was able to hide and focus on my education and future. But life itself is a learning curve, an uphill battle always. My struggles tend to build me and make me into a stronger person.
What do people usually not know about you?
Wow, most people would be surprised to learn I am a very down to earth person, i am big on meditation and nature! The most important thing people usually not know about me is that, I am kind of a nerd, a comic book nerd and I have a huge thing for Pokemons. Growing up I was such a huge fan of the Pokemon world!
What sets you apart from others?
Well, what sets me apart from others would be that, I am a very driven person. I’m always planning and building something. I would say, my faith sets me apart most times because I try my hardest to keep my faith and my influencial life a balance.
What are your upcoming major events?
Well, I just released a fashion line, called Bougie Me Couture @bougiemeboutiq! And right now I’m working on my winter fashion show, and very excited for the third collection which will be tied to the winter magical moments of my childhood! So stay tuned, that should be closer towards the holidays!
What expert advice would you like to give?
My advice to anyone that has a dream, first of all no matter how good you are at it, make sure you have a backup plan. Make sure you educate yourself. I believe in education coming first before anything! But learn your stuff, make sure you know your market. Make sure you are tapped into the all the right places! And most importantly, if it’s something that you can do without being paid, and still be happy. Then it’s something you can be rich off of if you really work hard and never give up on your dreams. Your destiny is tied to your gifts!
