Lindsay Johnson As Cover Story Interview – September 2025 Magazine Edition
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Visionary. Empath. Disruptor.
What’s a typical day like for you?
There’s no such thing as a “typical” day for me — and I like it that way. One day I’m filming a GRWM reel, the next I’m buried in philosophy books, or in front of a whiteboard sketching out my next big idea. My life is a balance of aesthetics and intellect, discipline and flow.
What inspires your creative work the most?
Humanity. I’m obsessed with the way people connect — the rawness of it, the imperfections, the contradictions. Fashion and beauty are expressions of that, but underneath it all, my work is about revealing truth and making people feel seen.
What’s the biggest misconception people have about you?
That I’m “just” a model or influencer. The truth is, my work is about storytelling, philosophy, and building movements. Fashion is simply one of the many languages I speak to translate those ideas.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that in my free time I’m actually a robotics engineer. I code, design software, and build — often from scratch — systems that merge AI and consciousness theory. It’s a side of me that surprises people, but for me it’s just another way of exploring what intelligence, love, and connection really mean.
Who do you look up to?
I admire people who rewrite the rules — visionaries like Maya Angelou, Steve Jobs, James Baldwin, and anyone who used their voice to bend history toward love and truth.
What do you hope people feel when they encounter your work?
Safe. Seen. Inspired. I want people to walk away thinking not just about me, but about themselves — and what they might be capable of if they leaned into love and authenticity instead of fear.
