How do you introduce yourself?
ALY-SLAY, R&B and Hip-Hop Singer-Songwriter, CEO & Founder, Heart & Soul PR.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Small town, limited opportunities had to work to build up my life and move to the big city – NYC (10 years) and LA (now 10 years). Toxic relationships (emotional abuse) and learning what doesn’t work for me and standing up to bad behaviors. Financial struggles between jobs and building up my own business.
What do people usually not know about you?
I have performed at Carnegie Hall twice and have sung in several opera performances.
What sets you apart from others?
I don’t ever give up. I’m one of the most positive people you’ll meet and I’m a manifestor and actualizer. I go after everything I want and I’m especially resilient personally and professionally. I light up every room I walk into as I know that my purpose on this planet is to share light and inspire as many people as I can no matter if I’m performing on a stage or in a boardroom.
What are your upcoming major events?
Releasing more music, speaking engagements, live performances, press. More to be announced as more gets confirmed!
What expert advice would you like to give?
Keep going. I’m proof you can make your dreams come true. Everyone is on their own timeline and that is the beauty of this journey of life.
