Tina Matinpour As Cover Story Interview – September 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Tina Matinpour. I am the Chief Operating & Compliance Officer for NewportCare Medical Group, the founder of TINA Wellness Guide, an MBA graduate, a certified hypnotist, and a soon-to-be author. My life has been a blend of corporate leadership, spiritual wisdom, and personal transformation. I use my experiences — both challenging and inspiring — to guide others toward healing, empowerment, and living authentically. Titles aside, I see myself as a woman on a mission to turn pain into purpose and help others discover their own resilience.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My story begins in devastation. I lost my fiancé in a car accident—the same accident that nearly claimed my own life. He lost control of the car and crashed into a tree at the Ayres Hotel in Orange County. The impact was so violent the tree snapped in half and collapsed onto us. He died instantly. In that moment, my entire world shattered. By some miracle, I survived. The jaws of life cut me free from the wreckage. I was rushed to the ICU with eight broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Doctors placed me in a medically induced coma, unsure if I would live through the night. When I finally opened my eyes, grief hit harder than the pain. I didn’t remember who I was—only fragments of my childhood remained. I had to relearn how to walk, fight through memory loss, and rebuild both my body and my identity. But tragedy didn’t stop there. Later, I nearly gave my heart to a man who seemed like everything I had ever dreamed of—only to learn he was a con artist. He faked cancer, ran a Ponzi scheme, went to prison, and was even tied to murder. That betrayal taught me a brutal truth: appearances deceive, and discernment is survival. Since I was 17, I’ve also endured the terror of being pursued by stalkers. Each of these experiences could have broken me. Instead, they forged me. They became the fire that built my resilience and gave birth to my mission. That mission is TINA Wellness Guide. Through it, I help others heal, rewire their minds, and reclaim their lives. My journey proves that even in the face of unthinkable loss, betrayal, and fear, the darkest chapters can be transformed into light—not just for ourselves, but for others walking their own path of survival and rebirth.
What do people usually not know about you?
I carry a vibrant and unexpected mix of qualities. I’m fun, outgoing, and love to laugh, yet I deeply value my homebody side — spending quiet, meaningful time at home with my dogs and cats, or reflecting and decompressing in my personal space. I’m exploring fostering children, expanding the heart of care and compassion that has guided me in building TINA Wellness Guide’s mission to create a home for all animals. Another part of me that surprises people is that I am psychic, naturally attuned to energy and intuition. I create music inspired by my life experiences, turning my story into songs that support coaching, healing, and rewiring the brain through TINA Wellness Guide. This balance of leadership, creativity, humor, and spiritual depth defines me — professional yet soulful, grounded yet radiant, and always full of lightness and joy. I guess there is a lot about me that surprise people.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart is that I don’t just talk about resilience and healing — I have lived it. My life experiences give me a depth and authenticity that can’t be fabricated. I merge executive leadership, spiritual insight, psychic intuition, hypnosis, and creative expression into everything I do. I am living proof that you can be strategic and intuitive, powerful and graceful, grounded and glamorous — all at once. That harmony is what I bring to my work, my company, and my relationships.
What are your upcoming major events?
I’m preparing to release my debut book, “But First, Love Me: A Guide to Healing, Wholeness, and Self-Love Before Motherhood.” This book is more than a project — it’s a movement for women who aspire to become mothers, reminding them that the greatest gift they can give their children is a healed and whole version of themselves. Alongside my book, I’m expanding TINA Wellness Guide with new coaching programs, hypnosis-infused practices, music-based healing tools, and upcoming workshops and speaking engagements where I’ll share my story and strategies for empowerment with women around the world.
What expert advice would you like to give?
My advice is this: invest in yourself first. Life will challenge you in ways you never expect, but when you prioritize healing, self-love, and inner peace, you create an unshakable foundation. Stop comparing your journey to anyone else’s. Trust your timing. And remember — your scars are not flaws. They are proof that you survived, rebuilt, and rose again. In truth, they are your crown.
