Purva Sarkar As Cover Story Interview – September 2025 Magazine Edition
How do you introduce yourself?
Hi, I’m Purva Sarkar. I’m a dynamic individual with a dual passion for fitness and life sciences. I’m completed my master’s in microbiology. I’m currently pursuing my interests in life sciences and looking forward to a career in research where I can apply my knowledge to make a difference in people’s lives. I’m excited to explore the latest research and advancements in both fields and contribute my own insights and discoveries to the scientific community.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way, and one of the toughest has been dealing with competitive exam failures. It’s like hitting a roadblock on the path to my dreams. The emotions that come with it – disappointment, frustration, and self-doubt – can be overwhelming. But I’ve learned that these struggles are not roadblocks, but rather stepping stones. They’ve taught me resilience, perseverance, and the importance of learning from my mistakes.
What do people usually not know about you?
To many, I seem like a social butterfly, effortlessly navigating conversations and crowds with ease. But what people might not know is that beneath this extroverted exterior lies a complex and introspective individual. Sometimes, it feels like I’m wearing a mask, hiding my true emotions behind a smile and a laugh. I’m often wrestling with my own thoughts and emotions, trying to make sense of the world around me.
What sets you apart from others?
My never-give-up attitude and resilience in the face of challenges inspire me to push beyond limits and achieve my goals. My empathetic nature and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds make me a valuable friend. My positive energy is contagious, and I strive to spread joy and enthusiasm wherever I go.
