How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Saliim Bey/300k, I’m a music manager representing @poppy_ohsoo and other upcoming talents. My role is to guide artists through their careers, build strategies, and connect them with opportunities that match their vision.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Breaking into the music industry without major backing has been challenging. I’ve had to learn to build networks from scratch, push through rejection, and stay motivated even when doors closed. Those hardships taught me resilience and sharpened my business instincts.
What do people usually not know about you?
People often see the results but don’t realize how much behind-the-scenes work I put in—late nights, endless planning, and negotiation to make sure artists shine. Outside of music, I’m also deeply committed to personal growth and mentoring others.
What sets you apart from others?
I see management as more than just business—it’s about developing people. I focus on building long-term careers, not just short-term hits. I balance creativity with strategy so artists have freedom while staying on track for success.
What are your upcoming major events?
We’re preparing for upcoming performances, new music releases, and collaborations for @poppy_ohsoo. My focus is on expanding reach internationally and locking in major platforms to showcase our work.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Patience and consistency are key in the music industry. Build strong relationships, understand the business side as much as the creative side, and never compromise on your values. The slow, steady grind often outlasts quick shortcuts.
