How do you introduce yourself?
My name is Aga, and I am both a celebrity makeup artist and a fashion designer. I’ve always been passionate about artistry and self-expression, and I’ve been fortunate enough to turn that passion into a career. Whether I’m working on a runway show, collaborating with a brand, or styling a celebrity, I bring the same level of creativity and dedication to every project. For me, beauty and fashion are not just professions—they are platforms where I can inspire others and continue to push artistic boundaries.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
My journey has not been easy. I had to work extremely hard to earn my place in this industry, and I did it step by step, with no shortcuts. Once I built a name for myself and gained recognition, I realized that success also comes with challenges—one of them being criticism or negativity from others. At times, people have tried to discredit me with rumors or by questioning my work. It can be difficult to handle, especially when you’ve poured your heart into what you do. But over time, I’ve learned that these moments only make me stronger. I use them as motivation to keep moving forward and to prove, mostly to myself, that resilience and passion always win.
What do people usually not know about you?
A lot of people only see the finished product—whether it’s a red carpet look, a photoshoot, or a collection—but what they don’t see is the amount of effort, time, and energy that goes into every single detail. Nothing about my career has been handed to me; everything I’ve achieved has been the result of countless late nights, trial and error, and the willingness to keep learning. People often assume that success in this industry is glamorous and instant, but the reality is that it’s built on consistency, discipline, and hard work. That’s the side of me that most people don’t know but one that defines me the most.
What sets you apart from others?
In such a competitive field, it’s easy to fall into negativity or comparison, but I’ve always made it a priority to focus on my own path. What sets me apart is that I don’t waste time or energy trying to bring others down. Instead, I channel that energy into becoming better at what I do, improving my skills, and creating work that I’m proud of. I truly believe that the energy you put out into the world comes back to you. By lifting others up, supporting colleagues, and staying true to myself, I’ve been able to build not just a career but also long-lasting, meaningful relationships in the industry.
What are your upcoming major events?
I’m very excited about an upcoming event that feels like a milestone in my career. I’ll be hosting a masterclass for Giorgio Armani Beauty at Nordstrom at The Americana. It’s an incredible opportunity not only to share my techniques and experience but also to connect with people who are just as passionate about beauty as I am. Events like this remind me why I started in the first place—because makeup and fashion have the power to inspire, transform, and bring people together.
What expert advice would you like to give?
My advice is to never let disappointment or comparison hold you back. It’s natural to look at others in your field and wonder why they seem to be ahead, but that mindset can be damaging. Instead, think of your career like a marathon. In sports, the most important thing is crossing your own finish line, regardless of who is in the crowd cheering—or not cheering—for you. Even if you feel like no one is supporting you, keep going. Stay focused on your work, remain consistent, and trust your process. Success takes time, but if you keep pushing forward with passion and persistence, you will reach your goals.
