How do you introduce yourself?
I am Rosa Piccirillo, an Argentine-born model and actress based in the U.S. With a background in medicine and clinical research, I bring a unique perspective to the fashion and entertainment industries, celebrating inclusivity and representing women of all ages.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Moving to the U.S. over 20 years ago, I balanced raising a young family while building a career in clinical research. Transitioning later into modeling and acting is challenging, especially facing age and beauty standards in the industry. But these obstacles fueled my determination to prove that talent and passion have no expiration date.
What do people usually not know about you?
Many people don’t know that I was trained as a doctor and work in medical research before pursuing modeling and acting. This journey taught me resilience, discipline, and the courage to reinvent myself.
What sets you apart from others?
I bring together science, culture, and creativity. As a Latina, daughter of Peruvian parents, I represent diversity. As a mature model, I challenge traditional standards of beauty. My journey reflects perseverance, versatility, and authenticity.
What are your upcoming major events?
I was recently selected for Wilmington Fashion Week, continue collaborations with international designers, and recently worked on a stock shoot with Getty Images. I am also expanding my digital portfolio through my official website.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Never let age, size, or background limit your dreams. Be consistent, stay professional, and always invest in self-growth. Your uniqueness is your greatest strength.
