How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Danielle Massi! Bestselling author, keynote speaker, conference founder, and shadow work expert.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I was diagnosed with cancer on the week of my 30th birthday, and that diagnosis shifted the course of my life forever. I found strength in the struggle and now use my traumas and what I learned in healing to help people around the world.
What do people usually not know about you?
That I’m an introverted mom and wife! When I’m not speaking on a stage, I’m probably cooking dinner or driving my kids to an activity, and I love doing that stuff just as much as I love my work.
What sets you apart from others?
I’m completely delusional. There’s not a part of me that thinks I won’t succeed, and it’s that delusional belief in myself that has empowered me to the next level of success every time I’ve needed to jump a hurdle.
What are your upcoming major events?
My new Shadow Work Deck was officially published last week, and I’ve got 4 speaking engagements coming up – 2 in my hometown of Philly, 1 in Salem Massachusetts in October, and one in Disney World in February.
What expert advice would you like to give?
That little voice in your head tearing you down is an amalgamation of your past experiences. Deal with the sh*t that’s happened to you, and you’ll change your life for good!
