How do you introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m TheQuinElla, the creative force behind @Purplellaa and @Gavellaluxe A Nigerian born fashion designer, YouTuber, brand influencer, stylist, and entrepreneur. I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit since childhood : from doing paid drawings and paintings, to sewing, makeup, hair business, thrifting, modeling, and brand advertising. My journey has been shaped by talent, inspiration, ambition, love, self-expression, and a passion for inspiring others to live boldly. I love creating positive change and leaving people and places better than I found them. I was born in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, and lived there until I completed secondary school. I then moved to Ibadan, Oyo State, for my Cambridge A-Level studies, which I used for Direct Entry into the University of Ibadan. After school and service , I moved to Lagos State where I currently live.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
Almost every day as an adult presents its own challenge testing one’s passion and strength. There’s a long list of “hardships,” but for me, each challenge has been a stepping stone to growth, self-awareness, and acceptance. There have been moments of frustration, setbacks, and self doubts, but I’ve learned to see every challenge as an opportunity for inspiration and reinvention.
What do people usually not know about you?
Honestly, I sometimes wonder what people do know about me! Maybe that I’m quite unpredictable and discreet, multi-talented, skilled in many areas, and that I used to be a tomboy.
What sets you apart from others?
The way I think and how I bring those thoughts to life. I’m deeply optimistic and authentic. I stay focused on my own journey, which helps me carve a unique path as a leader rather than following trends passively.
