How do you introduce yourself?
My Name is Everton E-Dee Dennis Jamaican Actor, Singer & Writer Star of the hit Movie “Out The Gate” CEO Of Clarendon Records
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
One of the biggest hardships I’ve faced was losing my mother. It was a deeply emotional time, and it forced me to navigate life without someone who’d always been my anchor. On top of that, I’ve struggled financially while trying to get my music out into the world. Breaking into the music industry is tough—there are costs for recording, promotion, and just getting heard, and I’ve often had to figure it out with limited resources. But these challenges have taught me perseverance. Losing my mom gave me a perspective on what really matters, and the financial hurdles have pushed me to be creative and resourceful. I’ve learned to keep going, even when it feels impossible.
What do people usually not know about you?
One thing a lot of people don’t know about me is that I’m a proud father—I have kids, and being a loving dad is one of the most important parts of my life. I also really enjoy cooking, especially when I get to make meals for my family. Fishing is one of my favorite ways to relax and unwind, and I’ve always loved playing soccer it’s a great way to stay active and have fun.
What sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from everyone else is that I’m not just an actor, writer, or producer—I bring a unique blend of experiences and creativity to everything I do. My musical style and acting are deeply rooted in the culture of the West Coast of California, but they’re also influenced by the rich, vibrant sounds of Jamaica and the Caribbean. That fusion gives my work a distinctive flavor that stands out in both music and film.
What are your upcoming major events ?
I will be in the DMV for a promotional tour in April and I have a movie called mother-in-law starring myself in Vivica Fox and another film called temperature rising with Omar Goodings and DeAndre Barnes to be released this summer and I’ve just released a new single called Water Run that is doing very well in the US and the What?
What expert advice would you like to give?
Always stay true to your voice and your story. Authenticity is what connects with people the most. Don’t chase trends—create your own wave. Keep learning, stay humble, and surround yourself with people who inspire and challenge you. And most importantly, be patient with the journey. Success takes time, but passion and consistency will always set you apart.”
