How do you introduce yourself?
I’m Tim Quinn—co-founder of Halo42 Skincare, entrepreneur, beauty expert, and proud advisory board member of the Farrah Fawcett Foundation. My career has taken me from the fashion capitals of the world to meaningful health and wellness initiatives. I believe in creating beauty with purpose—inside and out.
Struggle – What hardships have you gone through in life?
I’m a cancer survivor, and that experience reshaped everything for me. Facing illness helped me see life with new eyes—it made me more intentional, more grateful, and more passionate about wellness. That journey of healing led directly to Halo42—a brand rooted in nature, science, and resilience.
What do people usually not know about you?
People are often surprised to learn I have an Economics degree from Albertus Magnus College. My foundation in business helped fuel my creative ventures. I’m also incredibly proud to be part of a family legacy there—my mom and her sisters were graduates too. And receiving the Alumni of the Year Award recently was a deeply emotional and full-circle moment.
What sets you apart from others?
It’s the intersection of luxury, heart, and healing. I’ve spent over two decades working with the most glamorous names in beauty, yet I always lead with empathy and authenticity. Halo42 embodies that balance—luxurious skincare powered by Copaiba, and built from a place of personal transformation.
What are your upcoming major events?
We have several exciting things on the horizon—
We’re launching a nationwide pop-up series with Bloomingdale’s, debuting Halo42 in key luxury markets. Alongside that, I’ll be hosting exclusive health and wellness events with my co-founder Mark Turnipseed, with stops from California to Las Vegas, New York City to the Hamptons. These gatherings are all about creating deeper connections and celebrating the journey to inner and outer radiance.
What expert advice would you like to give?
Stay true to your purpose. Beauty, like life, is not about perfection—it’s about connection, healing, and self-expression. Take time to nourish your skin, your soul, and your community. And never underestimate the power of authenticity in both business and personal life.
